Here are three ways YOU can get involved!
JOIN THE VSC
The VSC is made up of dedicated and motivated community members. These board members are brought together through the common goal of enriching the lives of all CCSSLC residents. Board members attend monthly meetings, plan fundraisers throughout the year, visit the facility and residents, attend board socials and recruit other board members.

In order to join the VSC, you will need to fill out a volunteer application online, write up a biography and interest letter.
DONATE
The VSC accepts monetary and in-kind donations. Additionally, all donations made to the VSC are tax deductible.

Your monetary donations go towards funding our projects or any immediate resident need that arises at the facility. The VSC has helped purchase clothing, toiletries and bedding for residents who do not have enough personal funds.

Your in-kind donations go towards supporting the on campus resident resources. These resources include the clothing store, CD and DVD library and book library.
VOLUNTEER
If being a board member is not for you, that is okay! You can still volunteer at VSC fundraisers and events.
​
Volunteers at events may help with event set up and take down, crowd management, event photography or videography and overall event facilitation.
​
As the VSC posts about upcoming events or fundraisers, feel free to reach out to a board member about volunteering. Any role you play at a VSC event or fundraiser will make an impact on the CCSSLC resident's lives!
